Reality Check

Tesla’s advantage: Cameras-only system
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the no-pedals, no-steering wheel car would be able to drive itself without supervision.
While Musk expects it to rake in trillions, some experts doubt the cars will hit the roads anytime soon.
But the unveiled Robovan is just a prototype. Tesla aims to produce 20 million vehicles a year by 2030. Musk did not provide information about plans to build new production facilities or re-equip existing ones. Production of Cybercab is expected to start in 2026 or 2027.
