We need the company to come to us with a viable economic proposal for our wages. We’re asking the company to invest in its workers, because at the moment what they’ve offered us is a 1% raise, and we do not find that acceptable. So we are waiting for the company to come back to us with a more viable proposal.
This is just the beginning. We will continue to do whatever it takes to win our fair contract. This is just the beginning of the action that we’re going to take.”
