Tennis South Africa and American Express hosted the Amex Tennis Town to help fans in Montecasino enjoy live coverage of The Championships, Wimbledon 2024. As part of the experience, fans and Card Members gathered to watch a livestream of The Championships with additional access to virtual reality tennis gaming, photo moments, and onsite tennis clinics. They could also grab bites and refreshments from local vendors at the Amex Food Village, including Wimbledon favorites like strawberries and cream.

American Express launched the new Essential® Rewards Credit Card in Sydney, Australia, offering Card Members and fans the opportunity to purchase tickets to a one-night only performance by local band Lime Cordiale and surprise guest, Ruel.

Select Platinum Card Members were invited to join an adventure-filled day with Amex in Pathum Thani, Thailand. They started the day test driving the latest Rolls-Royce models and made their way to a scenic boat ride along the Riverdale marina, followed by a sensory workshop where they learned how to create fragrance with Tom Ford Beauty. To end the day on a relaxing note, guests enjoyed a special dinner prepared by three-Michelin-starred Swiss Chef, Andreas Caminada, and could take home a personalized piece of glassware.

Select Card Members in Spain were invited to a special dining event as part of the Member-Get-Member referral program. Guests could meet Spanish chef Quique Dacosta and enjoy dishes from a five Michelin-star restaurant’s menu that featured beetroot and dill soup with frozen kefir and salmon, turbot rested in wines from the Jerez region, and rice with meat and roasted peppers.
