Hilton Strengthens Asia Pacific Development Leadership with Key Executive Appointments for Greater China and South East Asia

SINGAPORE – Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has announced the appointments of Nong Xiaas president of Development for Greater China & Mongolia and Maria Ariizumias vice president of Development for South East Asia.

These appointments mark a significant step in Hilton’s ongoing commitment to expand its footprint and strengthen its presence in key growth regions.

Nong Xia will lead Hilton’s ambitious development strategy in Greater China, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his tenure with H World Group, Starwood, Hyatt, and Groupe Pierre Vacances et Center Parcs. A Chinese native, Nong will leverage his deep industry and market expertise to drive Hilton’s expansion in Greater China, where the company’s network already boasts over 640 trading properties and an industry-leading pipeline of nearly 800 properties.

Maria Ariizumi brings deep knowledge from her time with Swire Hotels, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Marriott International, and Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting, and positions her to spearhead Hilton’s ambitious growth in South East Asia. This newly-created role underscores the region’s growing importance and Hilton’s aim to double its portfolio here in the next three years.
