WHAT: The Discover Boating® New York Boat Show®in partnership with ProgressiveInsurance® docks at the Javits Center January 22-26, 2025, inviting tri-state water lovers to escape the cold and plunge into summer fun.

    • Connecticut Boating Sales totaled $311 million in 2023 including new powerboats, outboard engines, boat trailers and aftermarket accessories. CT ranked 31 nationwide in total marine expenditures in 2023. Boating has a $3.6 Billion economic impact in CT, supporting 13,223 jobs and 623 businesses.
    • New Jersey Boating Sales totaled $716 million in 2023 including new powerboats, outboard engines, boat trailers and aftermarket accessories. NJ ranked 16 in total marine expenditures in 2023. Boating has a $6.6 billion economic impact in NJ, supporting 20,177 jobs and 1,193 businesses.
    • New York Boating Sales totaled $1.2 Billion in 2023 including new powerboats, outboard engines, boat trailers and aftermarket accessories up 4.3% compared to 2021. NY ranked 6 in total marine expenditures in 2023. Boating has a $10 Billion economic impact in NY, supporting 34,717 jobs and 2,341 businesses.
